Progress
magazine now in its thirteenth year, is Atlantic Canada’s
most influential business magazine. The magazine, published 10 times
a year, is the flagship publication of the Halifax-based company
Progress Corp., publisher of Nova Scotia: Open to the
World; Progrès; Halifax Magazine; Progress Preferred
Book of Lists; and Progress Research and Discovery.
Progress takes the magazine ‘live’
with trademark events designed to help the region’s
decision-makers network and grow their businesses.
The TOP 101 Companies Awards Receptions
were launched nine years ago to celebrate business excellence
throughout the region. These annual receptions in New Brunswick,
Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island are host
to more than 900 business leaders and have become four of
the most anticipated networking events of the year.
Face to Face – A Gathering of
Entrepreneurial Minds is a 2-½ day business
retreat. For eight years Progress has offered the
only conference of this kind in Atlantic Canada. CEOs come
for the networking, learning and rejuvenation – they
leave with new contacts, new ideas and new inspiration.
Behind the magazines, the special events,
the marketing programs and the custom publications is our
greatest asset: our team of publishing professionals. Journalism
and public relations interns from across the region as well
as MBA students from the Sobey School of Business contribute
to our team while they learn their professions.
Publishing means different things to each
member of our team. We’re a diverse collection of
editors, sales professionals, designers, researchers, business
people, account executives, event coordinators, and publications
specialists. But we have one thing in common. And that’s
ensuring that our magazine products are the best they can
be.
And we mean business.
